Building customer loyalty
July 1 marked the 10th anniversary of Doug and Cathy MacMillan owning what is now known as MacMillan Marketing Group. The past 10 years has seen steady company growth and it was definitely a milestone very worth celebrating.
The staff decided we wanted to do something for Doug and Cathy to recognize the date so, among other things, we did a mural in the building which featured our superheroes. The wall is a reminder of how super the past 10 years have been, and all the super things that lay ahead.
But this blog post is not about the anniversary. It is about one of our suppliers helping support this project.
Display It Graphics gave us an incredible deal on the decals that made up the mural. Their expert attention to detail meant that the wall was amazing, professional and unique. We could not have done this wall without the help of all the great folks at Display It.
But why should they give us a deal when there could have been a buck to be made? Because it strengthens the relationship between Display It and MacMillan. There is now an emotional investment in the relationship. We at MMG feel more connected to them, and therefore the working relationship will be better, stronger.
And they are nice, supportive people who we like to do business with.
That is what we at MMG strive for too. Build that relationship, create those bonds. It is good for business and frankly, it just feels right!
