Today’s Guelph Mercury celebrates our city’s Top 40 under 40, shining a deserving spotlight on the inspiring younger leaders of tomorrow.
We’re delighted to count our own Tova Davidson among them. Not that it is a surprise. As a marketing professional, Tova brings strategic insight, original thinking and incredible energy to her job. In her 8 years with the company, Tova has consistently grown professionally and personally, is directly responsible for the company’s continued growth, leading to her recent appointment as Vice President. Tova’s pure dedication to MacMillan is very refreshing, and we’re lucky to have her.
As much as Tova’s professional accomplishments stand out for us, it is her endless commitment to the community that makes a difference. Even though she is a busy mother and business leader, Tova seems to always be helping others in one way or another. She is a volunteer with many organizations and not-for-profits that touch her heart, and frequently takes the initiative to pull together a fundraiser to help a family in need. She organizes biannual clothing exchanges in her home where more than 30 women swap stories and outfits, with carloads of clothes and shoes donated to charity in the process. Tova whips together a fantastic event as easily as she bakes a delicious low-cal cake for her co-workers.
If you see Tova around, tip your hat. She’s in the Top 40 in the Merc, and is number one in our books.
