How Inspiring
One of the best things about my job is the variety. One moment I’ll be writing a brochure for a business accelerator in the agri-tech sector and the next I’m working with a designer to come up with a cool concept for a not-for-profit’s annual report. Getting excited about projects is easy – I feel like I’m always doing something new.
BUT, getting excited is one thing... being inspired by a client is quite another. One of my largest clients is a heating, cooling and indoor air quality contractor in Oakville – AtlasCare. They recently launched a charitable giving program called Care to Share. In a nutshell, the program encourages people to go online and nominate a charity in their service area. Monthly, a random draw takes place and the “winner” gets a $1,000 donation from AtlasCare. No strings attached. How cool is that?
The program is intended to expand AtlasCare’s charitable reach and diversify how it supports the communities where its employees and customers live. It is also a remarkable example of how this company lives its brand every day. What’s truly inspiring is that there is genuine excitement behind this initiative and its potential to succeed and make a difference. I’m thrilled to be a part of it.
I encourage you to find out more about Care to Share (http://www.atlascare.ca/care-to-share.aspx). But watch out – the excitement is contagious ;)
