Diva of Design
My MMG superhero name is Diva of Design, not because I like to throw fits (unless it’s absolutely warranted!) but because I love the very latest of all things design, be it fashion, art, interior and more. I come from a long line of nicknamers, and my friends have picked up on that. Diva is a nickname I got from some of my oldest friends.
I’ve been with my MMG family for 13 years now, as Graphic Designer and Art Director, and I love it here. Personal strengths are really encouraged. Mine lean towards clean, simple design. I achieve that by using my superhero accessory/weapon – the Frisbee in my hand – as inspiration. Just like a good “flick”, great design can be clean, fast and straight to the point! Frisbee is also how I met my husband – we joined the same Ultimate (Frisbee) team. Very handy accessory.
Besides getting to know me, or hearing about the latest in design, I plan to use my blog to tell you about Diva’s Design Do’s and Don’ts. Hopefully one of them won’t be, “Don’t Let Your Designer Write a Blog”…
